Holographic, The Next Wonder After Blu-ray Holographic, The Next Wonder After Blu-ray Monday, July 23, 2007 : Kolkata: In the new era of technology, Holographic will be the new buzz in the arena of optical media disc. Moser Baers group chief financial officer, Yogesh B Mathur, in an exclusive interview to EFYtimes, rude boy his views on the latest technology that will usher a new era in the arena of optical media disc. Holographic will be the next wonder after Blue-ray in the world of optical media disc. This will transform the whole experience of home video viewing, said Mathur. Presently, blu-ray rages the market in abroad and holographic discs are still in the process of RD development. Even rude boy discs are yet to make its foray into the Indian market. Holographic discs offer new technology altogether with multi-layer optical fibre, two beams effect and high number of pixels that will enhance the picture quality much better than blu-ray. The memory can be anything around 200GB. Whereas, right now, the optical discs offer 7 GB for CD and 7 GB for DVD. In the blu-ray category, it is 15 and 25 GB, respectively.
