I enjoyed Android and believe in the future of the platform. Froyo was detailed and looks great. HTC says we can expect it by the end of the year. Root on the DI appears to be difficult. If I am going to sign away two years of my life, I need to be sure that the device I am getting can handle that. Without root I am not sure that any Android device can. Call quality has been great for me, even with no bars. Pic quality has been excellent, and I havent had any problems with the microphone. Assuming you find your dream phone that holds a charge for three weeks, takes professional-quality photos, doubles as a top-of-the-line camcorder AND has land-line call quality, cheers to you. Might be my location but I have had AT T for 6 years, rarely ever dropped a call.
